1. Go Go Boots are usually at eye-level of customers and must be maintained in good condition.
2. Unless otherwise specified, boots are always plain black. Any kind of material; matte or shiny. No furry boots.
3. No ankle boots. Top of boot must hit right below, on, or above knee. Thigh-high boots are allowed. Boots may be pull-on, zip-up, or lace-up.
4. Boots may have any toe shape; pointed, round, or square.
5. Boots must have a high-heel and not be flat. Any kind of heel and at least 1 inch. No "stack" boots that have one connected sole. See example below of what's not allowed:

AMANDA'S FOOT TIPS
1. Trim toenails short and keep a pair of toenail clippers in your Go Go kit, along with Band-Aids in case you need to protect a blister.
2. Wear cotton athletic socks. Depending on how tight your boots are will determine if they are ankle or shin socks. You may even wear two pairs of socks to really cushion your feet. Take extra pairs so you can change them if your feet become too sweaty.
3. Cut your fishnets (and nylons if applicable) so they become footless.
4. Add arch support insoles to boots.
5. Wear boots a half size larger to accommodate for sock(s), insoles, and swelling of feet that occurs once dancing.
6. Carry baby wipes to freshen feet after gig and apply menthol foot cream for soreness. Wear a fresh pair of socks and slippers home. Reuse the baby wipe to quickly wipe off any smudges on the boots as you put them in their bag.
7. To keep boots fresh, take boots out of dance bag as soon as you get home, stuff a dryer sheet inside them, lay them flat so the long part of boot keeps it's shape, and place a box of baking soda nearby.
8. During steps 6 & 7, if you notice any dings in the boots, the last step is to apply black permanent marker, nail polish, or shoe polish. Doing last allows it to thoroughly dry and dissipate any chemical smells.

AMANDA'S METHOD
This money-saving process keeps much of the glitter where you want it and less all over the dressing room.
Apply body glitter shimmer lotion (see recipe below) from knees up while nude at home.
Put on a majority of your Go Go outfit with sandals and a loose sundress.
While driving to work, place a large beach towel over your seat for glitter-protection.
After finishing dressing in your Go Go costume, add a little more body glitter lotion to your highlighted areas.
Keep wipes in your kit to clean glitter off your hands.
Keep eye drops, Q-tips, tissues, and extra contact lenses in your kit in case you get glitter in your eye!

BODY GLITTER SHIMMER LOTION RECIPE
  1. Find a clean empty lotion bottle with a lid.
  2. Fill half-way with shimmer body lotion.
